Cold drawing must be performed on a dedicated cold drawing machine. Generally speaking, the process must go through the following steps.

1.Material handling

The application environment of cold drawn material products requires high dimensional accuracy of the material. Cold drawing can determine the dimensional accuracy and surface brightness of the processed product through the selection of the size of the material. Generally, the material whose outer diameter is a few millimeters larger than the requirement is selected for processing. Therefore, in order for the raw material to pass through the cold drawn mold, the raw material must be processed. The processing method is to use a special mechanical roller to make the hole diameter of the raw material end smaller than the mold hole diameter.

2.Drawing processing

The raw material can be drawn on the cold drawing machine after preliminary treatment. In this process, the mold must be lubricated to reduce mold loss. Generally speaking, there are two lubrication methods, one is oil lubrication, and the other is lubrication with special lubricating materials.

3.After drawing, the product still needs to be straightened, and the waste material of the chuck is removed, the ruler is cut, and the rust is prevented. Cold-drawn round steel should have a wide range, and it is widely used in hot-rolled round steel such as hardware accessories, home appliance accessories, processing raw materials, mechanical processing, etc., which cannot meet the requirements of the site.
